The A109 road is the main road link between the Kenyan cities of Nairobi and Mombasa. It is also known as The Mombasa road. For the majority of the distance, the road runs adjacent to the Nairobi-Mombasa main line, itself a branch of the Uganda Railway. It is also regarded as one of the most dangerous roads in the country due to the many hundreds of road deaths that have occurred in the last few years. == Towns and junctions == The following towns, listed from east towards the west, are located along the highway.〔Rough Guide Map to Kenya〕 Major junctions are in ''italics''. *Mombasa * *''B8 road to Garissa'' * *''A14 road to Tanzanian border'' *Jomvu *Miritini *Mazeras *Mariakani *Maji ya Chumvi *Samburu *Taru *Mackinnon Road *Maungu *Voi(160 km from Mombasa) * *''A23 road to Taveta (Tanzanian border)'' *Mtito Andei (260 km from MSA) *Kibwezi *Emali *Sultan Hamud *Salama *Konza *Kyumvi aka Machakos Junction *Athi River * *''A104 road to Namanga (Tanzanian border)'' *Nairobi (500 km from Mombasa) * *''A2 road to Moyale (Ethiopian border)'' * * *''A3 road to Liboi (Somalian border) - diverts at Thika'' * *''B3 road to Kisii'' * * *''A104 road to Ugandan border via Nakuru and Eldoret - diverts at Uplands '' 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「A109 road (Kenya)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
